I use the K.I.S.S. principle of photography: It works well for me and my clients.

Photography is never about materials or techniques or fancy equipment, but lighting. Once in front of a camera, with the proper lighting, the quality and character of the subject always appears by itself. The camera simply records it.

 

I never over-light in the studio or on location: I use as much natural light as possible. If natural light is unavailable, I light simply but always dramatically. 

 

I have been blessed to have the skills and creativity to photograph for many wonderful and appreciative clients. For the past 25+ years, photography has been for me a stage on which I have photographed others' performances.
